Daniel Sullivan, PhD, DBSM
Dr Sullivan is a Clinical Psychologist based in Brisbane, Australia. He completed his undergraduate and doctoral psychology training at Griffith University, and masters-level training in sleep at the University of Sydney. Dr Sullivan has a particular interest in treating sleep problems, and holds the Diplomate of Behavioral Sleep Medicine certification by the US-based Board of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. He is a faculty member in the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, where he teaches into the masters and doctoral-level professional and clinical psychology programmes. Dr Sullivan's practice has focussed on clinical health psychology, having trained and practiced in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings including sleep, persistent/chronic pain, and burns. He frequently acts as an expert reviewer for academic journals and conferences in the field of sleep, and served as an Editor of the journal Research Directions: Sleep Psychology (Cambridge University Press). Dr Sullivan is a member of the Australasian Sleep Association, and an international affiliate of Division 55 (Society for Prescribing Psychology) of the American Psychological Association.
